APowerCap Technologies Inc. (APCT) delegation will take part in the 4th International Symposium on Large Ultracapacitor Technology and Application (UCAP) in Tampa, Florida, on May 12-14, 2008. The sympoisum will be dedicated to new advances in material and cell design, hybrid ultracapacitors, and pack design and performance in key applications.
Dr. Yuriy Maletin, APCT Chief Scientist, will present the characteristics of the new generation of APowerCap Technologies Inc. ultracapacitors at the UCAP Panel Session «Àdvances in Carbon/Carbon Ultracapacitor Materials and Cell Design». The new APCT product line has unique properties, which were confirmed by independent test results from leading automotive firms.
The first generation of APCT ultracapacitors included small size UC devices having the capacitance between 10 and 60 F and packaged in soft pouch type shell. ApowerCap Technologies Inc. developed a new generation of larger UC devices with the capacitance between 300 and 600 F packaged in both soft and solid cases.
APCT will also participate in the 8th International Advanced Automotive Battery and Ultracapacitor Conference and Symposia, which will be held in Tampa, Florida, on May 14-16, 2008. AABC is the forum where automotive energy-storage developers, their suppliers and prospective customers meet to discuss the latest technological progress and market direction.
